Dear players,
Development of the next version of Tribal Wars has now finished and we are excited to be able to reveal the exact details!
We'll be announcing new worlds that will start with this version shortly.
Army camps:
Tribes will be able to build Army camps, which are temporary bases that allow you to send your troops to them.
Once your troops are stationed at the army camp, they can then be ordered to attack or support any village.
Only the owner of the army at the army camp can give it orders.
Army camps can be built at any location, and require gold coins.
Mobile version (premium only):
Players with a premium account are now able to take advantage of a specially developed interface for mobile phones.
This will make navigating and playing the game much easier from a mobile device.
Awards:
Players will be able to gain various awards for various tasks in their world.
Examples are killing the most units in a given day, or reaching the top 100 of a world's ranking.
Awards are shown in the player's profile, as well as a list of awards you've gained in other worlds. However, this can be disabled.
Noble planner / village claimer:
To help coordination in tribes the game will now have an in-built noble planner.
Each player is able to reserve villages for nobling, with the tribe leadership being able to set the maximum reservation time and the amount of reservations a tribe can make.
The reservation is non-binding, but tribe members and allied tribe members will be shown a warning message when trying to attack.
Like the tribal forums, the noble planner can be shared with other tribes.
If you have a premium account, you will be able to directly reserve villages and view what villages are reserved from the map.
Support request (premium only):
You will be able to quickly request support from friends or tribe members by clicking on a 'SOS' icon next to an attack.
Email alerts:
Players will be able to choose to receive an email when their warehouse is full.
Map colours (premium only):
The system for assigning colours to villages on the map has been completely revised.
In addition to being able to assign colours to player's villages, you are now able to assign colours to entire tribes.
You are also able to colour your individual village groups.
Recruitment overview (premium only):
Village groups are now shown on the recruitment overview.
Tribal forums:
You will be able to preview a new post before posting it.
Tribe members with the 'hidden' forum right will not be able to access 'trusted' forums anymore.
The tribe leaders must explicitly assign this right to members.
Overviews (premium only):
The design of the overview system and tabs has been improved.
In addition to this, the system for assigning and managing village groups has been given an overhaul.
There are of course many other small improvements and bug fixes, but these are the main new features.
All old worlds will eventually be upgraded to version 6.0, but game changing features (such as the army camp) will not be added.
